requirements.
Blisters offer advantages of convenience and improved patient

In addition, suitably printed, they allow you a superb marketing
opportunity to establish your brand identity in the patient's
mind, improving the chances of your product gaining
repeat purchase/prescription
Push-through Lidding Foil
Conventional blister packs are created by thermo-forming a web
of plastic film, normally PVC, into pockets. These are filled
with the pharmaceutical product e.g. tablet or capsules and then
sealed using heat and pressure.
The product is removed from the pack by then consumer pressing
it through from the pocket side through the foil.
Packaging materials are supplied in reels - dimensions depend
upon the packaging machine being used. Close links with all major
blister machine manufactures are maintained by Alcan Packaging,
our R&D centre in Neuhausen, Switzerland and our sister companies
to ensure that we remain at the forefront of new developments
in this field. |
